Rebel Hart Art
was born of the passion, creativity and determination of its founder, Rebel Hart — a long-time artist who has explored a variety of artistic mediums, while also navigating a complex heart condition and other chronic illnesses that came with it. She closed a small piece of that chapter in September of 2018, when she had a heart transplant just days before her child's birthday.
Rebel has always had a passion for the richness of her experiences, relationships and art that have driven her to keep going through the many challenges she faced.
In September of 2023, with the support and encouragement of her best friend and co-parent, Rebel looked deeply into the art of wood burning. This spark of an idea, paired with her previous curiosities toward Wood Turning, ignited a fire inside her.
Rebel began designing one-of-a-kind, hand-wood-burned and hand-painted art that represents the heart and soul of her personal mission. Rebel Hart Art started by burning unique heart shapes and painting them in a bright, bold color palette. Representing Rebel's journey with vibrance, using natural wood to represent the connection to earth and the community, a traditional multi-tipped wood burning tool used fire to represent passion, the human spark and the fortitude of the soul. Each lovingly hand-crafted, unique piece uses non-toxic acrylic paint and is finished with an all-natural, plant-based wood wax, preserving the integrity of the piece to last as a keepsake for generations.
